Paesanos – Street Team

Ciao bella!

The purpose of my street team is to help spread the word about my books.

The concept of a “street team” came from fans of rock groups who spread the word and helped their favorite bands make it big. I’d love it if you’d read on and consider being a member of my street team.

Word of mouth is what works. It is how I choose the books I read. Your good word about my book means the world to me.
What I’m looking for are people who genuinely like my books. If you think that is you, then yes, I will be extraordinarily grateful for your participation.
But first read on to see if it’s right for you.

If I don’t already know you, or even if I do, I’m hoping this is a chance where we can get to know each other even more.

Reviews

Leaving a review on the day of publication is one of the main things I ask of my street team members. Members of my street team agree to read early copies of my books in exchange for posting an HONEST review within a few days of the book’s release. (I’ve been told that even BAD reviews help authors. Really.)

I’ve heard some people say that they are too intimidated to write a review and I guarantee you authors do not judge reviews. We are simply thrilled to see someone likes our books even if it just means hitting the five stars and writing “Great Book.” That’s enough for me.

Reviews count more than I ever realized. They help Amazon determine which books to promote, but also help readers like me decide which books to pick up.

As a member of my street team, along with early reviews, I do ask that you look at the following ways to help and possibly consider doing one or more:

* Buying my book the first week of release (yes, even though you’ve read an early copy).
* Asking your local library to order my books by giving the librarians the title, my name and the publisher name.
* If you want, asking any other bookseller to order my book if it’s not already on the shelf.
* Also if you want to be really naughty, put my books on the new release table at the front of the store and/or face the covers out on the shelves.

And that’s about it.

I often solicit advice from my street team members on my novels, covers, etc. and am so grateful for their extremely valuable input.

If you think this is something you might want to do shoot me an email and I’ll add you to the Facebook page and email list and send you out a welcome package.
Thank you so much for your support!

xx
